BIOGRAPHY
NOT MAD' (anagram of Tom/Dan) started in February 08 specifically for the RPM challenge. Originally Tom and myself who usually rock out covers with 'The Effengees'. 2008 was our first time writing together on a project. In 09 I invited Tom and all my 'musical' friends to contribute with fresh originals and or studio recording. The result for me was a very busy but social month and 11 tunes we wrote that would never have been written if not for The Challenge. For 2010 we used the crew listed below and came up with some folk, rock, blues, love, humor and even a trip to Denny's
BAND MEMBERS
Tom Duffy plays guitar and goes 15 minutes whenever the fridge light comes on.
Dave Finn pounds drums and our funny bones.
Dan Genest plays guitar, sings and shoots the hecklers.
Dan Mathis plays guitar, harmonica, sings and cracks the whip.
Bill Quigley plays guitar, dobro, attracts the babes and sings in tune.
Dave Renouf (Thumper) plays bass and provides discount therapy to band members .

9 friends writing and recording specifically for the challenge. Classified as ROCK but has a COUNTRY, a POP song,and a couple BLUES tunes within. Contact danmathis@comcast.net
PopScorn(2010)
Kind of poppy, yet scornful of pop. Lots of help this (our 3rd) year. This was really a rush job as I only had weekends to record. The best was the last Saturday of the month during a power outage when we used a small generator and recorded into the dark of night. PopScorn is an eclectic mix with humor, blues, folk rock, love and lust if look hard enough.
